As founder and CEO of Cavalier Technologies, Inc., Mike brings more than 20 years of experience from working in the IT industry and a sincere desire to share that experience with his customers.  Mike grew Cavalier Technologies from the ground-up based upon his personal values of cultivating honest and educational IT consulting relationships.  Since the business was established as a formal entity in 2009, Cavalier Technologies continues to grow and has seen substantially increased revenues year after year, crossing the $1M threshold in 2013.  

The company’s success is driven by Mike’s skills in IT Leadership, infrastructure and systems management, Microsoft technologies (Office 365, Windows Server and Desktop, SQL, Sharepoint, Exchange, and more), cloud products and technologies, and overall passion for learning and transferring IT knowledge.  He also provides customers with virtual CIO/CTO and staff backfill services, staff development for junior staff, disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution, and project management and implementation.  

 

Prior to founding Cavalier Technologies, Mike served as an IT Director at Wharton Computing from where he helped manage the central systems, networking, and IT infrastructure to support the faculty, staff, and students at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  At Wharton Computing, Mike gained experience managing a team of twelve employees and a multi-million dollar budget responsible for maintaining a variety of IT-infrastructure systems including networking equipment, email (Microsoft Exchange), storage, web application servers, datacenter maintenance, firewalls, and virtualization based on VMware.  In 2004, Mike became a full-time consultant and discovered the passion and talent that led to the inception of Cavalier Technologies.  

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University which continues to inspire his keen eye for optimizing technical systems.
